Illuminent’s 6th anniversary! Can you believe it?! Illuminent was founded in 2017, triggered by an earnest desire to bring life-changing products to the people. The hemp industry was still in its infancy, and quality CBD products were few and far between. Recognizing the enormous medicinal potential of CBD and the glaring gap in the market, we decided to do better for the people.
From our humble beginnings, grappling with skepticism and regulatory challenges, to becoming an industry-leading pioneer, it’s been a journey of resilience, innovation, and unwavering commitment. Today, we celebrate not just our sixth birthday but also our gratitude for the journey that has brought us here.

Illuminent was founded with purpose: to provide innovative quality hemp products that transform not only individual health but family and generational health. Our sights have always been set on creating a legacy that your families could reap the benefits from well beyond when we leave this lifetime. We faced challenges head-on, from misconceptions about the hemp industry to strict regulations. True to typical Illuminent fashion, we triumphed and began the real work of putting the power of health back into the people’s hands. CBD was taboo in the eyes of the general public! With good reason though; Cannabis was still illegal in the majority of US States and the idea of extracting non-psychoactive cannabinoids from hemp vs marijuana was just unheard of and well misunderstood. We all worked hard during this time to help spread education of what cannabinoids can do and how we are designed to work with them.
From the onset, our focus has always been on quality and innovation. Our first product, vape oil containing real cannabis-derived terpenes, set the tone for our commitment to providing the best medicinal products money can buy. We’ve been relentless in our pursuit of quality, often prioritizing it over the rapid growth of the company.
A year after our founding, we moved into our new headquarters and hit a stride with our multi-level marketing business model approach, booming with exponential growth. This is also the year that industrial hemp was re-signed into law as being federally legal through the Farm Bill
In 2019, we dove headfirst into agricultural operations, starting our own hemp farm and building an extraction plant. It was also the year we hit a major snag—our bank processing was shut down for 5 months, a blow felt across half of the industry. By 2020, the entire world faced the unprecedented challenge of the Covid-19 pandemic and the economy shut down. However, we never wavered from our mission, and these obstacles only strengthened our resolve. Here are the celebratory highlights from this timeframe!
Started our own hemp farm and grew the most beautiful plants! For the first time, we were able to extract and distill our own cannabinoids. This gave us the quality control we needed to ensure our customers truly had the best product on the market.
In 2019 we had the honor to sponsor Mike Tysons Charity Golf Event benefiting the non-profit Standing United along with countless other charity events.
We met the most incredible young boy named Logan and created a specific tincture for him to help him with rest and relaxation during his cancer treatments. Logan made such an impact on us with his infectious positive attitude and zest for life, despite his trials. To have the ability to honor him and know that we could contribute to easing his discomfort is something that will stay with us forever. To commemorate his spirit we launched a fundraiser to help cover his family’s travel & housing expenses while undergoing treatment. Logan chose to make t-shirts with his quote, “Cancer has no face”, this was his statement to take away the cancer’s power.
This was a time of bold steps and brave decisions, setting the stage for our future endeavors. The hemp industry finally started making headway in allowing for the therapeutic value of other legal forms of THC to hit the shelves and we knew the game was changing for good. However, as fate would have it, we endured even more obstacles ahead.
One of our fan-favorite products has always been our Illuminent Topical Roller. In 2021 we launched the Flare 1500MG Topical Roller.
Illuminent tragically endured two devastating fires, one being at our extraction plant and the other out HQ building. Staying true to our spirit and mission, we rebounded stronger. We rebranded all our products with new labels and launched our potent 5000mg Full Spectrum CBD tinctures. Our product innovation took an exponential leap forward, marked by the launch of Enhance which changed our daughter’s life. We also were able to be vendors at AK Soul Fest in Alaska where we were blessed with the opportunity to educate the local community on the radio and share Illuminent products with them.
2023 has been a game-changer! We’ve moved away from the MLM model and launched the Illuminent Affiliate Program! Innovation has continued on as we launched our new ‘Mushie’ line combining never before seen functional mushrooms with cannabinoids, signifying our resilience and ability to overcome and rebuild from obstacles. We are humbled to know that in these six years, we’ve touched the lives of over 30,000 people, with each customer, partner, and affiliate becoming a cherished member of the Illuminent family.
